Kyhv Peak (formerly squaw peak) in Provo is your ideal photography location for mountain photos in Provo Canyon.

The area has grown in popularity over recent years but remains a good option for Provo couples and families looking to showcase stunning canyon landscapes without a drive into Salt Lake's Big or Little Cottonwood Canyons.

The road to the lookout and lower parking lot is closed seasonally due to snow so be sure to double-check whether the road has opened up if you're hoping to shoot in spring or fall.
